David Bolon, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist at Manhattan Integrative Cardiovascular in Midtown Manhattan. He graduated from New York Medical College in 1996 and has served his New York City communities for more than 20 years.

His practice specializes in accurately diagnosing and effectively treating most cardiac conditions. Dr. Bolon is truly passionate about preventing heart disease, heart attack, and stroke before they compromise his patients’ health and wellbeing. “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure” is the motto he and his staff embrace.

In keeping with that goal, Manhattan Integrative Cardiovascular offers cardiac screening that includes advanced imaging studies and genetic testing.

As part of their heart attack and stroke prevention strategies, Dr. Bolon and his team design customized nutritional and exercise programs based on age, overall health, and other individual needs.

They also encourage periodic blood pressure assessments, cholesterol labs, and blood sugar checks to prevent new or worsening cardiovascular disease.

Our Mission

At Manhattan Integrative Cardiology, our motto is “the ounce of prevention.” This is because the vast majority of heart attacks and strokes are preventable. We create a customized strategy for each patient that includes aggressive screening for vascular disease that can be treated before it causes irreversible damage. We recommend incorporating an integrative approach to cardiac prevention that often includes nutritional planning, an exercise program and psychological support. Although we practice an evidence-based approach to managing and preventing heart disease, many of our patients incorporate alternative strategies as well. The key to preventing heart attacks and strokes is understanding that there is no one size fits all. Each patient must have an individualized plan that fits in with their beliefs and lifestyle.
